Our team are experienced in supporting children and young people identified as having special educational needs (SEND), in all four areas of need and we recognise that for many children and young people they may have needs in more than one area. We also support children and young people who are currently looked after, adopted from care or who are being supported by children’s services. We understand and support the impact of trauma and attachment difficulties.
1. Communication & interaction skills
2. Cognition & learning
3. Social, emotional & mental health difficulties
4. Sensory and/or physical needs
We treat every child as an individual either at SEN Support or with an Education, Health & Care Plan.
Our support is offered at school, at home or in the community. This can include for example, building confidence and resilience, developing communication and interaction skills, physical activities to develop turn taking, coping with setbacks, supporting the development of strategies to regulate how they are feeling.
